Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Boycie 2nd of the Blaise Blazer series. Looked like 2nd was the best I could hope for with Rhod Jones turning up for a run round. Race started steady again, which was good and Rhod pushed on in the first descent. Just decided I'd try and stick with him for as long as possible. Come the first zig-zag hill, he didn't pull away at all and half way up the pace suddenly felt too slow - so I pushed on and left him (this scared me a bit, as he is a 2.22 marathon, 65 half, 30 min 10k man), expecting him to come back on the flat and downhill section. By the time we came back down the zig-zags I could see him a few seconds behind, with Adams close in attendance. There is a then a flat few minutes through the middle of the Castle Estate, which I tried to keep the pace going over and still no passing! Second hill came and I was pretty knackered - but the sight on Ifor's face when he saw that I was ahead was priceless. A similar thing happened to last time on this hill and I extended the lead, even though I felt absolutely buggered this time; in fact I would've walked near the top, had it not been for two people suddenly coming into view and I thought
