About this parkrun
Flat riverside course on hard packed trail, some cobbled sections, can be congested. One lap but with a switchback to finish.becca7 28th Dec 2018
Near M1 Jn25. Flat man made paths, 2 mile loop and an out-and-back, between Beeston Canal and River Trent. Sometimes puddly. Lovely scenery, Heritage Canal Centre, Weir, Cobbled Humpbacked Bridge, by Attenborough NR. Boathouse Cafe is legendary.

Run and parking is at NG191NG, Weirfields Recreation Ground. Lovely run alongside Beeston Canal & River Trent. Fast, quick & suitable for road shoes. Loop and short out & back to finish. Coffee after @ Boathouse Cafe in the Marina.

Lovely course,friendly parkrun. Bit narrow in places so don't start too far back if you're looking for a time. I heard good things about the cafe but it wasn't anything special. Been to loads better. Maybe we caught it on a bad day.
