Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

DANBERT Started and finished at the Diggle Hotel. Not sure if we ran the course in a clockwise or anticlockwise direction apparentlly the organisers change it each year. Either way it was bloody tough. Much harder than any trail race i've ever done. It's a fell race really.

It was all on paths and tracks, basically taking us from Diggle on the old 'Boat Lane' over the Pennines. A section on the Pennine Way down Wessenden before the slippy waterboard steps down and up to the Golf Club and returning the same route down Boat Lane.

By the time i hit the steps at Marsden golf course though i was spent and had to fast walk some of the hillier sections.

The Pennine Way section over the big flags was quite trecherous as the flags were slippy and wet.

The course was tremendously scenic and was well marked. I'd definitely consider doing it again
