Marcus Really nice course inside the deer park. Saw more deer on the run than I've ever seen on a walk round! Well-organised but let's hope Altrincham AC don't cash in too much by opening the event up to more joggers/walkers as the course is narrow and overtaking lapped runners isn't fun for the lappers or the lappees. Unfortunately some athletes who should have known better were stood all over the course by the finish making it a difficult and demoralising passage for the slower runners just passing 3K. A few flying elbows at the tight start but easy enough to stay out of trouble. Time was slower than I might have expected on a road course but a fair bit of wind and a grass section adds time.
