bedlam_g Some people, one minute they're nominating you for awards and saying nice things about you then at the 1st opportunity they thrash over 3 kilometres :) Got this one all wrong went for a steady start when aggression would have been the more advantageous tactic, then didn’t have the extra gear required to fix things. The Belly Is Gaun Tae Get Ye Slowest time on course, but only second run in 2 weeks due to lurgy. Still at least Iturned out and seemed not to have caused any lasting damage.

Jaffers Ooocha! Never felt so ill after a race. That took everything but it was worth it. Strategy went to pot after Bedlam failed to go out hard so had to track DG instead. Kept in touch through 1km then a gap opened out; Bodo tracking me through 2nd km and passed me at th 2k marker. Things could have gone either way at that point but thankfully my brain responded positively and I hung in for the next 200 and then kicked to pass Bodo and a couple of others. Last km in 3.02 allegedly but I think the markers are a bit off. Passed DG with 100 to go and kicked again to make it stick; last 20m I floated in close to passing out! No coordination to stop my watch even!
