Fishface Not the best build up - too long on the gym treadmill and not enough miles outdoors ( possibly ?). Also windy day - very blustery on some parts of the course. Ran wearing a HRM and planned to run HR pattern that gave me 45 mins on a treadmill. BAD DECISION and never repeated since. Too slow early on, poor concentration, stop listening to body, wishy washy run. All things considered my least enjoyable race - but self inflicted and not helped by the weather. I plan to do this race again next year ( sans HRM )

Lalli My first ever 10k and I really enjoyed it! I didn't work too hard and enjoyed myself. This gave me a taste for using 10k races to keep me motivated!
