Argie: chapeau... nice radiator! I also appreciate your different colour scheme (everyone else on here pretty much lives in a modern updated McDonalds) and your tiled floor which hasn't got that chavy shine to it. -

Argie: I also appreciate the 0.4L saddlebox, some *knob* will tell you need space for a chainwhip but ignore them. -

Northern Exile: Knew you'd love it. Purmo slimline double radiator w/single convector, Honeywell thermostatic valve on 10mm microbore. -

Argie: orginal fit or a replacement? -

Northern Exile: Replaced by my own fair hand. The original was cheap and nasty. -

Durbat: think 15mm is better than microbore in the long run, you're gonna have problems with sediment eventually -

Northern Exile: I know, I know .... I inherited, otherwise it would be 15mm believe me. Trouble is, the microbore runs in the cavity between the block and the plasterboard (in a membrane), it would be *really" hard to replace. I flush it out every year and keep it topped up with Fernox. Best I can do really. -

Northern Exile: Could be worse. At least it's not that 8mm crap. -

Argie: you powerflush your system on a yearly basis. I am a spaz and don't even get our boiler serviced (its in the loft), as for Fernox I wouldn't even know what that was if it smacked me in the face. -
