    swittle: 30 years ago, this site was simply too dangerous to enter; after conservation & restoration, it boasts sailing, wind surfing and a cafe run by people with learning difficulties. Much of my early running was done here or hereabouts.

    swittle: Thanks - this is a special place I value highly: there's even a 10K multi-terrain race based there which had musical marshal stations, mainly brass instruments last year :)
