I think I remember reading that a race pack is sent out at some point with info but you need to pick up your race number and timing chip at registration on the Friday or Saturday (or Sunday if you want to leave it to the last minute)

By the way the family are tagging along with me and we have booked a room at Brathay Hall. Anybody stayed there before? Not sure what it's like.

Long run yesterday went well enough to convince me that doing this as a long training run ahead of the Coniston Trail Marathon in July isn't as daft an idea as I feared it may be. Form has gone in the post this morning - time to start looking forward to it again
Travel tip - if possible, get there in time to see the TiT runners leave for the last time then stick around for the prize giving. Minimal time spent sat in stationary traffic in/out of the site.

I've missed the TiTs setting off AND the prize giving before, but as I'm probably going on my own this time I WILL see both.
