Tends to be very little mud. We're in that, but we target the mid-Essex and 53-12 (North Essex + bits of south Suffolk and SE Cambs) which don't start for quite a while yet I don't think. They have the traditional mud, ditch crossings and stuff and you rarely if ever see an AC on the results list.

Second race the same, but with 2 crossings of a deep stream on each lap. Third race is in Bakewell, hilly with added sheep poo. Fourth race lots of little steep hills and big puddles. Last race is usually a proper mud fest. I say mud, more like liquid slurry. Such fun.

Oddly the Ipswich Jaffas do not take part; think they may be in 53-12 or another league.
