Slim pickings here as well as just a short run and not much in the way of street furniture.
I've used these pencils before but a on that occasion a different set. Similar function to the child bollards in Chrisity's pic.
A bench in a spot which isn't very scenic, next to a main road, but it's also at the top of a hill so perhaps it's there for reasons of rest rather than enjoyment of ambience.
It even came to taking a photo of a bin

5 mile ring around where we abide means some smaller hills open up for us now. Top tomorrow will likely be top of either Cairn William or Lord Arthur's Seat depending on which way we head. Been a long wait...

Patina is the word
I ought to do some research. We have some cut-down gas lamps around here too, albeit by paths not the road and they’re a similar colour. Maybe there’s a connection?
