I'm voting Pterodactyl more as an anti-Bluebird vote.
As very fast blue feats of engineering goes it's not in the same league as Mallard and this must be shunned.

Mallard is overrated as a piece of engineering. It was a thoroughly well-tested and proven example of steam locomotive design. Each of the Bluebirds built was right at the cutting edge of what was possible at the time.

They did build some beautiful things back in the day: Mallard, Golden gate Bridge, Bluebird (x2), Concorde, Boleyn Ground Upton Park.....
