I think I'm ready for this now that my scabs are sorting themselves out ![]() I have the course on my old garmin (never followed a course on it before but I'm sure it'll be fine, won't it?!!!!). Those diversions are worrying me though. I'm hoping to start closer to 15.30 than 16.30 so that should give me some time before dark ![]() Hopefully will see you tomorrow EdJ |

Excellent news! I was going to drop you a note about it. Having seen your Boston time for this year I'm actually more worried about being able to keep up with you! I'm really not bothered about pace - and am very much treating it as a 'time on feet' training exercise. I'd be quite happy shuffling/walking a good part of it. Do you want me to bring you a spare paper map? You don't have to use it but it might make kit check less stressful. I'm really comfortable with the navigation side of things, and think I've got my head round the diversions, so I'm very happy to deal with all of that. I'll be coming on the coach, which is due to arrive Wells at about 15:00. I'll try and elbow my way to the front of registration to allow an earlier start. I'll look out for a Fetch top (I don't yet have a Fetch running top - just the new cycling one). Just hoping the weather brightens up a bit. |

Boston was a fluke so ignore that! I'm getting myself wound up over these diversions - if I look at the "official" diversion route, it goes ever so skewiff at Brancaster. If you're sure that you're happy to shuffle around then I really would be grateful for the company. I'll probably be wearing a red fetch top and a turquoise cap so should be easy to spot! I'll fmail you my mobile no just in case! |
