Patina - couldn't find any copper going green, i expect it has all been nicked. So we have a slightly rusty plaque and a shiny barrier

No bronze here either. I looked patina up and the definition mentioned oxidation. That's rust right? Lots of rust about, these were the ones with a bit of paint left to make them more interesting!

Quirky bits and bobs
A homemade sign
And another
Lots of footpaths around here have recycled garden gates instead of wooden ones. It struck me as pretty odd when we moved here.

Quirky House, you don't often see brand new diggers in the driveway of a house in the centre of Beeston
Mind you, this is on their lawn

Wow. That makes me think of a friend who drunkenly bought an elephant at a charity auction (a huge sculpture, not a living animal). She had to hire a van to get it home. Then she couldn't get it in the house and had to keep it in a friend's garden

Don't often see a hard hat on a grave, strange that his name is Robert Stevenson as well.

They changed the name of the college before the tram started, but the tram company had already done the stuff for the old name. Now the college has no students and all the classes have been moved. Oh yes, i worked in that building for 35 years and had over 12 different staff rooms as well as 6 different college names.
Morons.

I've posted them before but I do love my quirky shoes; and equally quirky socks today. A couple of very quirky front gardens around here too!

Very short run before work this morning... Used this very road sign for this month's treasure hunt and couldn't have told you there were rocks there till I saw them again this morning! Funny what you see when looking for something different!
