And a good evening from me from Melbourne Park, home of Chelmsford City FC.

We had a Cambridge City once upon a time. Didn’t end well.

We had a Cambridge City once upon a time. Didn’t end well. Didn't end well in this case means they had to go and live in a shiny new home in Sawston?

Exactly, the worst punishment there is. Plus they're now playing in the South Cambs Dyno-Rod league, or whatever it is.

Tier 8 of the non-league pyramid. Which still means some games get bigger crowds than the Scottish championship.

During United's last year in the old Southern League, when City were doing quite well themselves, the two clubs used to get similar gates.

A few games perhaps, Cerrers. The average attendance last season of the lowest team in the SC, Queen of the South, was 1055 (which seems surprisingly low for them, but they are one of the remoter teams in the Scottish League. And there would have been Covid restrictions.). The average of the highest team in the NPL Midland Division, Ilkeston Town, was 998. 14/20 teams had averages of under 300 (Cambridge City was 243). Some teams in the fifth, even sixth, level of Scottish football will get similar.
So there.

A few games perhaps, Cerrers. I was careful in my choice of words, and thought I might get a bite
