Whitechapel. It's really very famous - or it is if you work at the Aldgate end of the City.

I lived just off there. You’d go for a drink in an empty pub. Every hour for 5 mins it would be packed with Americans in baseball caps. Then silence again.

I worked on Aldgate High Street for many years (Aldgate House, opposite the bus station), then worked in One America Square (off Crosswall - it's the faux art deco place that looks like a Wurlitzer jukebox - or at least is meant to) with Dougal for several more.
