Hello again Mudlark , where ya been ??:) Thats a beachrunner in front of you on the home page :)

This challenge looks doable *arrrggghhh* 2 + 2 sounds about right but I'd need a decent bike, not my Miss Marple one :)

I guess everyone is doing the longer distances? I notice there is the option of shorter ones, but not much of a challenge then! I think I would have to do bike, run, bike, run as it is going to take me much longer to cycle 125 miles compared to running 26 and I find running easier than cycling. are the routes available to see Mudlark?

Ive been planing how im doing it !
Day1=Run 26 miles with light refreshments @ half way with 1hr rest, then finish steady pace.

2=Bike 50 miles & hit lunch !rest 30mins,another 50 miles stop for refreshments ,then continue last 25 miles-all at steady rate, continually conserving energy!

3=Run..Same as day 1 as i know this days route is the easyest run section ...

4=Bike..Same as day 2 hopefully.all depends on numbnuts!! & sore feet & aching muscles...BUT I WILL SURVIVE IT & FINISH.I MUST HAVE ONE OF THOSE

PRESTIGIOUS MEDALS and of course the wall of fame..

If there's 11 hours to finish each day, I'd prob aim for the 4 days of running. Trying to persuade my Fetch buddy who ran the Kilomathon with me, to consider it.
I could do it if I had a buddy with me for eating/drinking/chatting/whining duties!
But there'd be no tents for us - I'd be staying with one of my Uncles who stays nearby (luxury of baths n sofas would surely see us in good stead).

What's the race limit(s)??

Theres no Event cap .There will be hundreds of others to talk & make freinds along the way ! the whole atmosphere will be fantastic !
as you can see my cunning 'get me round' plan should work ! well 11hrs to complete each days challenge. If it gets too much theres allways a 'smaller'alternative
but then you loose out on the Medal !!

No. Not getting the medal would NOT be an option!
Even on hands and knees (so long as there's no regulations against it) :-)
