Yes, if it had been between the posts the goal would have been disallowed. All of the ball has to be over all of the line. If a part of the curve of the ball is above any part of the line it’s still in play, and that is what happened. And you are right that you could see grass between the ball and the line but that’s not how it’s measured. |
