A hipster pasty would be like a pasty but vintagely retro, therefore very similar to all the rest of the Cornish pasties. Except for possibly being described as an artisan pasty and costing twice as much. And being served on a slate. A reclaimed Cornish slate, naturally.

Locally foraged and produced truffle oil, I hope; ethically sourced using free-range pigs, I hope.
It does bring to mind however shyfire's post on TYWTSBC a few days ago:
"the smell of that white truffle oil isn't like an alcoholics breath the morning after the night before".
