Crap town update: well I’ve had a perfectly reasonable dinner at the only eaterie in town. They do breakfast too, so assumed at least I’d be well fed, if bored, for my 3 days.

They then cheerfully informed me they were shut on Weds/Thurs, but ‘there is somewhere to eat in Orderville, about 10 miles down the road’.

This place is ticking all the boxes!

I’ve just come back from a celebration event for 20 years of PCSOs in Essex.

It doesn’t get any more hip and happening than that. Not of a Tuesday.
