Please do, I’d be honoured. Feel free to edit and improve it as you see fit.

Ok Dio, I’ve just ordered it. I want to read more this year but there will be no fancy reviews. I shall let you know how it goes.

I have it a 7. Enjoyed it up to the murdering, then he went into active debit as a fictional character for mean spiritedness and acting too much as a book character. Quite enjoyed all the mucking about with fiction and form but not as much as say Tristam Shandy. Looked up about 6 words, some crackers there (published before 1501= Incunable I did not know that)

Just read back: enjoyed the review McG but in sharp contrast to Bint I kept seeing how much more I had to read. There’s lots of bits I’ll remember fondly but I have zilch desire to read it again

I don’t quite understand why people dislike the bombings and murders, it’s a logical progression in this fictional world, and Malry makes a sound justification of his actions. After all, this is an absurdist novel, even if it is also quite instructive.

And, to top it off, Christie is called to account by the harshest of means.
The Shrike’s Old Mum is worth the admission price on her own.
