Gave up smoking and started running aged 32 to run for Band aid (1984).Did first race Hastings 1/2 1987 I think. Became addicted to racing. Now I only do about 3 a year. Completed my first Duathlon in 2015.Won my first race as a super vet in 2016. Retired (from work) through co-vid, furloughed then made redundant. completed my first sprint triathlon in May 2023. Currently training for my next triathlon spring 2024
