Approx 3 yrs ago my boss in work asked if i would like to do a half marathon for cancer research. I had never ran before but thought why not, i built up my mileage from 1 mile and completed the half marathon in 2 hours 38 mins. No stopping me now and my half marathon PB is 1 hour 58 mins. I certainly have the running bug thanks to my boss and have lost 2 stone as well.
