A Club Road Runner since 1986 my first run being the 1986 Mars London Marathon (3:03:03). My peak was in 1994 / 1995 at age of 36 with PB's across the board ranging from 5k (00:17:16) to Marathon (2:43:00) with Cambridge Harriers, a RRC based in Bexley, Kent.
Relocation from Kent to Warboys (Nr Huntingdon, Cambs) resulted in my level of fitness taking a nose dive!. Recent longstanding injuries to both Achilles Tendons and reaching the age of 50 have severeley hampered a return to even modest performances at Road Race events with my current club, BRJ Huntingdon RRC.
