Leeds Abbey Dash 10k - Ran this race today with two intentions. One, a pb and two sub 40. Which I have been trying to crack all year. A cold morning but nice and sunny, a mere 2oC. Completed race in a whopping 38:47 putting me comfortably sub 40 and a new personal best time by well over a minute. Absolutly over the moon with the outcome. Ran well, paced well and finished strong. I'll put this down as one of my best ever races ran to date. Not forgetting, my 10k league won 3 years running. That closes the book of running for 2012 for me, ending on such a high note. Now time to chill!
