Notes & Comments

Edale Skyline.

Over analysis coming up. Felt terrrible on the way up Ringing Roger, legs felt like jelly. Running off Kinder refused to push too hard and was chasing Steve and James wondering if it would be one of those days.New route down to hope extremely steep and not the sort of descent where you can recover. Felt strong overall on the runnable sections but pretty weak on the walking climbs, had to catch James up a number of times as he kept getting away up hill. Eventually caught him and left him on kinder to be fairly comfortably first PFR. Once that was in the bag I eased off with 3 Peaks in mind as I'm hoping to carry on with the fairly chunky mileage straight away. Conditions were ok on the whole. Westerly wind in your face a lot of the way and boggy on way up to Brown Knoll. To summarise - need to work on the long drawn out hills before 3P's, Whernside and Inglebugger would have buggered me up today.
