Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Notes & Comments

EAST LANCS TRAIL 10K. Had convinced myself that I was just going to jog this, and probably run with Graham. However, Dazz told me on the start line "its a GP race, do the best you can", and I knew he was right really. Surprised myself by not feeling too bad. I took it nice and steady for the first half, allowing myself to get boxed in when I could have gone a bit faster, thinking if I had it in my legs I'd run faster later. Big hill at half way, then a lap of a park, when I realised Mandy wasn't all that far in front. Wasn't too fussed as wasn't in racing mode, but another mile and I was only just behind her. I was feeling quite strong and went past her with a mile to go. A wee natter, and I was worried to death I'd have a race on, but Mandy let me go (phew!). Not a bad time for a trail 10k, quite pleased. And especially pleased at my recovery from the Hebden. 9.10, 9.21, 9.28, 9.02, 8.48, 8.24, 8.07 Positions: Overall 185/276, F49/113, F45 9/22
