Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Notes & Comments

Racing in the last Kevin Henry 5k League race this year, in Cambridge. The course has a reputation for being pretty rapid and with a quick field - I can confirm that both are true!

Started with a lap of the track, absolute bedlam with hundreds of runners, but no accidents. Then spent the rest of the race slowly inching my way up the field whilst trying to hold what felt like a consistent pace; I gave my brother my Garmin, so with no markers I didn't know what I was on for, so I just had to run hard.

Luckily, wound up with a sizeable PB in the end, and didn't feel too bad afterwards other than some outrageous blisters flaring up! As a result, pretty darn chuffed with this...
