The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
I'll be honest I wasn't a fan of this. What a mile CC down a thin track? Rumours of running in 3 races only with the whole club. I saw elbows and trips all over the place........ Well I stand corrected and like any race (especialy when it's the first time you've done it so ultimately a PB) quite enjoyed it!!
V35 and V40 ladies together. Started at a 50m race pace and quickly reaslised when was at the front and panting heavily I had to slow down some what. Lollepop and Claire trotted passed me with ease! It was tough, especially with the combine harvester filling the air with dust, but the group appeared to all have enough space around them and some great efforts all round!
Am very pleased with time - didn't worry about stopping watch as have the 1 mile split recorded - so logging as a 7:19 mile pace race - thank you!
Great organisation and thanks to all the marshalls too for helping with the car drivers and cheering us on
