Notes & Comments

Combe Gibbet 7th place. Dry conditions made a fast race. Had dodgyish first 5 miles. Stomach was off, could have been high caffeine energy drink I had before start. Recovered and caught the other Basingstoke runner. Pushed from half way up Ladel hill and moved up to 6th. Hamstring tightened in last 3 miles and I dropped to 7th. Supprised how I could keep the pace as I have only done one run over 15 miles in the last year. Cooked breakfast might have done the trick!
