Notes & Comments

Belvoir HM - knew I would be more fatigued than in previous years due to last week's effort sessions, so was expecting to die off a bit in the latter stages. Wanted a relatively even effort race and managed that - pushing the HR up a bit for the last few miles to see what was left (not a lot!).

Woke with cramp a couple of nights back, and think I may have pulled something in my left calf - doesn't hurt when running, but feel it at other times and very tender. Bit of RICE and hopefully that will be fine.

All in all, pretty well placed for 3 weeks' peaking work before Stratford.
