Notes & Comments

CUERDEN VALLEY BADGER RUN. Mmmm, quite pleased with this run I think. So hard to judge progress on these sort of runs. This sort of run was a multi-terrain race with lots of fast running in the first half punctuated by loads of kissing gates and the odd stile, then the second half was great fun, a meandering undulating route through woods with loads of flights of steps. Tod legs come into their own on this sort of stuff and I had a few satisfying overtakes. 8.44 min miles seems quite reasonable considering how much time I spent stopping. General consensus seems to be it's about 2 mins slower than a 'normal' 10k so perhaps I would be about 52 mins now. Placings good again F 18/67, F40 4/13, Overall 119/212. 2nd placed ladies team with me as 3rd counter, oh would have so loved to have been 1st.
