Keynsham 10k. Had been half hoping for a fast time until looking at the course profile. Long climbs and sharp decents made it far slower than I'd expected.

However, the sun came out and the run itself was relatively painless. It certainly passed quickly.

After about 1k I was in 10-12th ish but the climb quickly reduced that group and by 4k at the first peak I was in 5th running with Holly Rush. I'd manage to get a little away from her on the down hills but she'd catch me on the climbs until around 8k I pulled away slightly and she eased off for the last half km while I worried about someone catching me for 5th.

Top 5 won cash prizes so incredibly made a profit from the race! Lucy was also 5th and I was given a medal for coming second senior male (bit bizarre!).

Really good to meet Barry (sub70orbust) in person at the race too. It was also nice to know so many people from our training with Team Bath as they were there in force!
