Notes & Comments

Trimpell 20 - Ran this race today 3rd year running. Like last year, ran an outstanding one with a faster second half. Felt a bit uncomfortable on first 5 mile and I was a little concerned about weather I could pick up but after 7/8 mile the engines got warmed up to rocket the second half. Remained strong right until the end rewarding me with a watch finish time of 2:21:31 which is a pb! Conditions were not exactly perfect, bit rainy to start and quite cold but other than that just a cold and damp race. Race today is a good confidence booster for Edinburgh with that 3:20 well within reach.

Now a quarter of way through marathon training!
