Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Notes & Comments

HUDDERSFIELD 10K. OMG how slow is that?! Had a decent run too!! Very tough route. First 2 miles uphill, especially mile 2. Then 3 more hills after that. And some of the descents just too steep to really make some time up. I always knew that this wouldn't be a fast race, and after the 2nd mile taking over 10.30, I decided to just challenge myself to run all of it, and not walk at all. Which I did. I kept the Garmin on lap time display as I didn't want to see my overall time, as I knew it would be heartbreakingly disappointing. Good effort, 80% I'd say. Enjoyed it in a weird sort of masochistic way. Laps (in case I ever do it again) 8.49, 10.40, 9.00, 9.41, 8.38, 8.46, 7.43. Position not too bad 345/511, F 68/165, F40 16/36.
