Notes & Comments

Beveridge Park 5k race series. I was so sure that I was going to beat my PB quite easily tonight. It was a perfect night for racing - a little dull with some nice cooling moisture in the air.
I started off very fast, and thought I'd kept a reasonable pace throughout but I must have dropped a little bit. Only passed by a couple of runners on the first lap, and I passed a few others on the second.
Perhaps I had my dinner and coffee too close to the start as I still felt it a little heavy on my stomach. Possibly not enough long runs in the run up to this one. Who knows.
I'll beat my PB next time!!!!!
Please wait... saving your change.
