Notes & Comments

Despite being pretty flat, this course showed it's teeth in other ways, notably the two very long straights (well over a km each) straight into the strong westerly wind, and the sheltered areas took you from west to east bar a short straight, so you didn't get the benefit. Add to that the cross winds and the grass and a slower than target time was inevitable. Nevertheless, 1st place and 1st vet, so happy with that.
