Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

*****************WINDSOR HALF**************
GREAT RUN! GREAT TIME!

Last minute entry as Ange Child, and undecided about prospects Arrive late as traffic problems, and take Lucozade Alert before start. Windy and unseasonal cold day, and no sign of Cheryl. Start slow upto copper horse and first couple of miles hard.Start to pickup pace and begin to enjoy after first 5 mile lap and although course is undulating there were no serious hills. Most of second lap I was a nett overtaker and managed not to walk at all which contributed to disappointing time at Burnham. Wind is predominately behind or across apart from last mile.
Last mile was a great finish uplong walk and into wind but was stillable to up pace. No stiffness next day.

Not too disappointed to be slower than last years New Forest as was absolutely wrecked at finish and probably could have run same time at Windsor with similar outcome, although NF was much hotter. Cheryl ran race with JS and got PB but was about 5 mins slower!
