Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Notes & Comments

No warm up as such (4M walk at 8AM to my lift was intended to serve as WU).

Found 1st mile esp difficult: breath initially wanted to do 6 steps /round – persuaded body to move down to 5 and then 4 (with forced exhalation on alt breaths to get good rhythm going); but kept thinking about the 50M coming up next week (throughout) and splits were a bit faster than I had intended (mid-value guide I worked out last nite was 7:25); reviewed pace at 3M and decided to ease off (tempted to ease off more but it was slightly downhill at this point).

Unusually, did not sprint finish (holding on to that bit of extra for next week).

Heels felt a bit close to the ground and that worried me with Rotherham coming.

Legs showed the heavy training Wed/Thur: it wasn’t easy.
