Epperstone Summer League race 1. With London a week Sunday and Belvoir half last Sunday this was more running at marathon pace / tempo than flat out. The Idea was to go easy to the top of the hill and MP for the rest, picking it up at the end. Felt comfortable at round about 6:30 pace and picked it up over the last mile to gain a few positions in a strong finish. Finished 73rd and only 40 secs down on last year when I did race it (although that was 10 days after Paris marathon!). A good workout. Bring on London.
