Blackpool Half-Marathon - not sure what to expect as I headed out towards the Pleasure Beach on the first lap. I settled down nicely at around 7 to 7:30 min/mile. I got to 5 miles in 37:07 (7:25/mile) and then 10 miles in 74:30 (7:27/mile). I struggle a bit obviously cos I've not done any proper training for ages but i felt really proud passing quite a few people in the last 5k section. The finish was a steep uphill on to the middle walk and my time was unspectacular. Overall my pace was decent enough at about 7:31/mile and 4:40/km.
