CARDINGTON CRACKER. Golly, they do make this a tough one. 2700' ascent. Had a great race, was very exciting and exhilerating, with crazy ridiculous wind especially on the Lawley. Everyone was hugging the post on the top and virtually crawling off. Very very difficult to make any progress at all at times. Had a great last few miles, after having an energy gel, and passed a few people. Felt good at the end, nowhere near as shattered as last year, and felt I could have tried a bit harder.
