Run > Cross Country

THE HEBDEN - absolutely fantastic day out in the middle of a fab weekend. Got a house full with Dazz, Alan, Caz and Rich here. Managed to get up early enough, and in the midst of all the chaos and solid porridge manage to get to the start on time. Kissed D goodbye, and then had a smashing day out running with Jane, Sue and Elise, and Caz, Rich and Bev for first half. We always run well together and we kept a good pace going, without having to miss any nattering, though they were a bit quick through the checkpoints and even Jane was a bit bemused at running with a cup of tea in her hand! Personally I felt strong, and felt I didn't really slow them down, and def ran strongly on the road/flatter sections, though Jane was still calling me 'granny' on the descents. Foot got really sore at the end and I just had to swear and shout to get me through it. Great afternoon and evening with lots of people I love and accidentally got trollied!
