Notes & Comments

Trafford 10k - weather was fantastic but getting warmer throughout. I started off with a 3:36 followed by a mile time of 5:40, which is my fastest recorded split. Up to 5km I really slowed up and came to halfway in 19:23. Luckily I had a lot left in the tank and I was passing people all the way home. I got to 5 miles in 30:36 (right on my pb) so I knew I was heading for a cracking time. Actually from 5km-9km I ran my quickest ever recorded 4km split of 15:01. I still had enough left for a quick finish and came home in a new pb by 1 min 7 secs.
