2009 Swaledale Marathon (23miles). Did not cramp this year. Regular long runs and electrolytes (Nuuns) and gels. Still felt very tired from Gunnerside to Reeth, but didn't walk half as much as I have in the past. Weather - contrary to the Met Office: very warm and sunny. Splits: Reeth-Punchard Head 16.21k;1hr48'41"; P.Head to Gunnerside10.19k;1hr6'39"; Gunnerside to Surrender Bridge 5.16k;41'12". Surrender Bridge to Reeth 5.63k;40'37".
