Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Notes & Comments

Monthly position 6!!!

Wasn't expecting the hills, I thought it was going to be flat course!
Last 5 miles was difficult to run, knees felt difficult to move. Not sure if I hit any 'walls' but I just think my joints and musles were knackered from the hilly bits. Possible solutions would have been an Ibuprophen and 'maybe' food, but not certain about the lack of food.

Race food
-----------------
backpack with 1.5L gatorade + .4L water.
Drank just under 1.5L from pack and 4 half cups of water.
Gels: 6 tried for every half hour
Jellybabies: 2 lots of 3 babies.

Foob build up to race
---------------------------------
Sunday Morning: Single oats with honey (not eough)
Sat Night: Single oats with sugar (trying not to full stomach as feared toilet issues, not totaly founded)
Sat Lunch: Lots of pasta with tomato suace
Friday night: Pasta
Thursday night: Lamb, potatos, veg (with Pam & Ian)
Wed: Pasta
Tues: Pizza
Mon: Pasta
