Wedgnock Mud and Mayhem thing. Lordy, my first off road. Mentally hard, good fun and FILTHY FILTHY MUDDY. ( yourraceday.co.uk my number 202).Pretty chuffed with time - slow on the face of it but I'd been told to add far more to expceted tarmac times. Maybe I adapt well, ha ha 
Interested in my placing for the first time - 13th out of 122 and second highest non-affiliated runner. For some reason seems to matter to me - maybe it's a 'privateer' thing! Shoes were a bit cack TBH - 'soft road' things, whereas the truly committed seems to be wearing serious studded stuff or Inov.Great laugh, recommended - cheap as chips so a drink, chocolate and a 'nana will do nicely.
