I headed to Stirling and the village of 'Buchlyvie' to do the 10K Road RaceThis was my 1st Race of the New-Year and my 35th Race In my total running career so far.It was raining quite heavy come race time and the course It's self was more like a Trail race/dirt track/with gravel parts along an old dis-used Railway-line, there was also alot of puddles to jump and a couple of small Inclines along the way.I set off right from the Start at at very fast pace and I lead for most of the Race.I came through the half-way mark In 17:08 and I felt very strong with my performance throughtout this tough route.I finished In 3RD Place overall and I got a New PB by 1 Second!! I am really pleased with how I run the race today and this was another great workout towards my marathon-training for "Belfast" In May this year.I felt really good and I am so pleased.
