Notes & Comments

Club Run - Oadby Route (plus solo miles)
Legs felt a little tired when setting out, but soon felt quite bouncy and light. Ran just over 5 easy miles solo with a short stop at home to drop off headphones. Stop at club before their run.

First couple of club miles were fairly easy with a little bit of a push up Rosemead and then down the hill. Back to fairly easy crossing the A6 and down the gravel path. Harder up the hills of Severn Road and then back up the A6.

Back to Hidcote and down Hidcote was fairly quick but steady effort before a harder push back up the Oadby Road and round to Mere Road. It was harder effort at this point but still had a gear left if needed, before backing off coming down Welford Road to the club.

Cool down was easy but legs were feeling tired by the time I got home. 16 miles for the day, plus a leg strength session, so tired legs is pretty normal.

A pleasing run though with a mix of harder efforts and faster paces, but felt good throughout the majority.
