Notes & Comments

Two mile jog, 4.5 mile progressive tempo, 1.5 mile jog. Frustratingly slow for the perceived effort. I thought I was running closer to 6.30 mile pace. The path was flooded on a lot of the tempo section, which didn’t help. Plus, it was really dark, so I kept stumbling (no moon light or head torch, only had star light to see), and coming back, I had a headwind for a mile or so. My right calf is feeling a lot better now, but it felt fatigued and a bit sore by the end. My left achilles was a bit sore while warming up, but it seemed to get better further into the run.
